Pros: Ambiance is very nice! Very elegant and warm Mexicish. It's very comforting, and sets the mood very well. Service was great! Can't remember her name, but she was very nice and made good recommendations. Food was awesome. Really crispy flautas, really cheesy quesadillas, and a decadent tres leches. Just lovely. Cons: No major cons. The food wasn't as mind blowing as when we went to the Winter Park location. But it wasn't bad by any means. Tips: Get the flautas, for sure. Get the tres leches, for sure. You can skip any of the combination plates. If you're gonna shell out this kind of money, get something unique for where quality differences can really shine through.

I had some friends come into town, and they wanted to eat at a fancy, but not too fancy, Mexican restaurant. When I hear that, I immediately thing Agave Azul. So we chose the one by their hotel, make reservations, and get this thing going. In the middle of a ho-hum strip mall, the interior is a stark contrast, very ornate and very upscale. Chill at the same time. You feel very comfortable in here, but also like you want to bop your head and party a little bit. Anyway, we got seated and met our server. She was very nice. Had a good explanation of the menu for us. No issues. Our drinks were full all evening long. As for the food, it was a little lackluster compared to our first time at the WP location. I know the restaurant world is faced with budget decisions lately, and I know the people of Windermere are a little seasoning-hesitant, so it all kind of adds up, and it was still a wonderful night, so I'm gonna stick with the five stars here. I had the Flautas (Chicken tinga, flash fried corn tortillas, crema, guacamole, queso fresco, radish, refried beans, Mexican rice, tomatillo arbol salsa). Mega crispy with some flavorful chicken inside. All that listed stuff piled high on top made for some good dipping and topping. Really fun. Really good. The rice and beans were part of the disappointment that I mentioned earlier, but they were still satisfactory. I'm glad they were there. We also had a sampler thing with a quesadilla, a burrito, a chimichanga, something like that. Also good. A good sauce, a tasteful amount of cheese, maybe a little small amount of rice and beans. Overall pretty good. We finished it all off with a Tres Leches. Pound-for-pound, the best thing we ate that night. This cake was very well saturated. Not too sweet, because the sweetness was the cream on top, and the caramel drizzle. Perfect amounts of each. A really nice way to end the dinner. Overall, this was a nice dinner. I will probably not come back, but if you are considering coming here, this place will not disappoint!

I've been here numerous times and it will always be one of my favorite Mexican spots. My go-to is the Churrasco (done medium), queso with chorizo and a Como La Flor to drink. The flavors are amazing and authentic. Service is always quick and staff is so friendly and accomplishing. It's a little noisy, but the decor is beautiful and I think it's a great place to go catch up with a friend over great food.

Beautiful decor and friendly staff. It wasn't too crowded and we didn't have to wait long for a table. I did have an awkward experience I'd like to share. I had ordered the fish tacos. When it arrived, one of the tacos had a very small portion of fish. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be that way or if there was a mistake. I questioned to our server, trying to be as polite as I could. To my surprise after a little back and forth, she ended up coming back with a duplicate plate of what I ordered without taking the original plate back. I did not expect this at all and was quite embarrassed. She gave me a take out container and stressed how it was no problem. All the staff were so very kind. I just felt ashamed and didn't feel right accepting the second dish. Food was great! Thank you for the amazing service! When in Florida, we will visit again!

We live in Birmingham and long for the day they put this restaurant there. In the meantime we visit this restaurant every time we visit Windermere. We had the savory sopa de tortilla and street corn for lunch. It was so rich and wonderful! It was full of vegetables (yellow squash, zucchini, onions, tomatoes, carrots and potatoes) coupled with a warm broth, hearty chicken, avocado and tortilla strips. Rafael was our server and he made our lunch date perfect. He was attentive and knew just the right moment to show up. I ended up getting three more servings of the soup to take home. Rafael was extremely courteous! PS we had him our next visit as well. His service was fantastic. PS bring this restaurant to Birmingham!

Came back to Agave Azul tonight and had Greg as our waiter! He was incredibly friendly and made amazing recommendations - like the Taco Shooters! This was my second time here and it didn't disappointment. The ambiance on Friday night is great - large crowd but not too noisy and the music was fantastic.

This is an incredible spot to take people from out of town! Unlike a lot of Orlando dining, this restaurant isn't crammed into some dodgy looking strip mall, it has its own beautiful building with lots of outdoor seating and lovely decor. As soon as you walk up you know your guests will be impressed. The inside is so open, with tall ceilings and modern finishes. I cannot get over how pretty this restaurant is. And of course, come here for more than just vibes! The food is soooo good!!! I love the creative offerings, so sometimes I'll come and make my own tapas from the appetizer menu, it's so great to try a little of everything. I will say the margs are super small and overpriced here, but don't worry they are still very tasty and come in some fun authentic flavors. The staff has been very kind and attentive every time I have been here, thank you to all of them for their hard work.

Greggs a boss. He was very quick with his service.

Graces was absolutely phenomenal at the Winter Garden Location. she made our experience absolutely wonderful!! The food also was amazing! 10/10 on the shrimp and chicken. Beautiful environment.

Hands down our #1 restaurant and most frequently visited. Consistently amazing food, attentive service, and tasty margaritas. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu and the margaritas are tasty but also pack a punch. The ambiance is so relaxing and even when it's super busy it doesn't feel overwhelming. There's an option for indoor or outdoor seating. Love this place!
